#TGIM Thank G-d It’s Monday – well yesterday was the first time i ever came across the abrev #TGIM – very bizarre but i went with the notion and continued to follow through with my version of Mondaze.

Mindful Monday was a sweet sweet success yesterday. Waking up on Monday Mornings I turn quickly to “snooze” which I think could be re branded as a time dedicated to meditation. I do not use my “snooze” to just roll my eyes back into my head & dream land but a moment of clarity.

Signing up for not one but TWO classes at The Barre Code in Ann Arbor : they have two fabulously convenient locations on is right downtown Ann Arbor on E Liberty between Maynard St & Thompson Street and the second is off Plymouth Road. The owner of The Barre Code Adri is a honey and i love supporting local startups & women ! #Girlpower – you don’t see too many men around The Barre Code but don’t let that stop ya felllas !

    Meatless Diet

Within the first thirty minutes of being awake and up & moving I like to have a piece of fruit to rev up my metabolism. Typically a Granny Smith Green Apple or Bartlett Pear.

Driving to Ann Arbor and getting off at Main Street I can’t help myself but stop into Mighty Good Coffee

Moving forward to lunch I walked over to my new go-to loving lunch spot Salads Up for a Mix It Up Salad filled with edamame, chic peas, cucumbers , red peppers, avocado , olives and broccoli with a spicy shiracha dressing! Dank.

Lady J ( maybe you remember her from the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Videos ) whipped me up some mouth watering orgasmic roasted Brussels sprouts for dinner along with our favorite breakfast for dinner omelet while i took on my Mondaze Motion hard.

Rabbit Fur Vest – astounding  layering piece that brings any outfit to the next level !

Basic Long Sleeve Top – stock up + pile on the quintessential basic long sleeve. Find a basic Betch top + buy 5 of them ( black, white, grey, brown, navy ) & change it up each and everyday. Makes your mornings much more effortless!

Gucci Belt –  committing yourself to Kayne’s work out plan means you jeans are gonna start to get looser …. time to slap on that belt !!  It is majorly encouraging when you have to go to + get a new hole put into your staple belt ! Wearing a belt makes you look that much more sophisticated and put together.

Classic Blue Jeans – that are made of real denim –  time to toss those pajama jeans and jeggings + go back to real denim (for those of you who ever chose to ditch it in the first place).  Featured here is a pair of Rag & Bone!

Work It – Snack Break – LMFAO

Unfortunately I cannot take the credit for this being my fancy new fridge !   The idea of quick tips and helpful hints to curb your appetite have been circulating for ages on all sorts of platforms. The FRIDGE is where many eaters find their trouble … taking too many trips to the fridge when you’re bored & knowingly consuming food when you are not really hungry.  Spotted in some of my friends apartments in college I’ve seen photos of Sports Illustrated or Victoria Secret Models or other Haute Betches hanging scantly clad  FRONT & CENTER on their Fridges! Like honestly looking at this photo shopped babe is gonna stop me from getting to that Thai Food from last night – if there even happen to be left overs 😉

To each his or her own on where your will power lies ! But I sure as hell know that If I walked into my kitchen and saw this lady on it with the quote “Ya’ll Best Not Be Snackin'” that I would most def refrain from eating and would be caught cracking up !!

The idea that laughter benefits health has been around for many years, possibly because it reduces muscle tension, increases the amount of oxygen in the blood, exercises the heart and produces happy chemicals in the brain ( endorphins ) It certainly makes sense that laughing would burn more calories too, as a result of the extra movement and increase in heart rate linked with laughing.

You don’t burn a bunch of extra calories – it’s little changes that make big differences. Plus, having a laugh usually makes most of us feel more positive about life – and ultimately, this can help us feel better about ourselves and make us more motivated to lose those excess pounds.

If you laugh for 10-15 minutes a day, you’d burn enough calories to lose 4.4 pounds in a year – it may not be the quickest way to loose weight but surely one of the funnest !!
